The Journey Institute is currently working on a new application process and submission criteria and will make an announcement soon.

In the meantime, if you have a problem in your community that you would like to help solve, please follow the instructions below to tell us about it.

Application Instructions

Applications MUST be submitted via video.  Videos should include the following:

  • A brief discription of the challenge/problem in your community that your'e trying to solve.  This should be you just talking and (if applicable) showing us what the problem is.
  • At least one other person from the community describing why you're the best person to solve this problem.
  • Who will be affected by your solution?  Your community?  Your city? Your State?  Beyond?
  • Each video should be less than 10 minutes in length.
  • Contact Information:  Name, email, phone.  NOTE:  Do not include this in the video itself, but attach or send via email when submitting your video application.

You may submit your video one of two ways.

  1.  You have a YouTube account or other web video service account and can send us a link to your video.  If so, please read to and agree to the disclaimer below and send us your link via email.
